About our Generations Campaign
Generations was launched in November 2009 as a way of re-connecting with our Outward Bound participants, and to raise the profile of our organisation amongst the general public in the UK.
Since 1941, 1 million people have participated on an Outward Bound course in the UK. We want to hear from as many of these people as we can, and find out their memories and experiences of Outward Bound so we can share it with future generations, and ensure that young people continue to participate on our courses. In doing so, we hope the profile of our organisation will be raised amongst the general public and more people than ever before will support our work, enabling many more disadvantaged young people the opportunity to experience Outward Bound.
