Lee Latchford-Evans pledges his support for the Outward Bound Trust & the Generations campaign
Lee-Latchford Evans, well known in the UK and beyond as a member of the former & much loved pop group Steps, recently ran the 2010 London Virgin Marathon for The Outward Bound Trust. Lee pledged his support for the Outward Bound Trust and undertook this amazing challenge because he could see the ability we have as an organisation to unlock the potential of young people through experiences in the wild.
“The Outward Bound Trust are unique as an organisation as they take young people outside of their comfort zones, give them confidence and self-belief, and make them realise that they can do things that they would have never thought possible” says Lee. “Generations is a fantastic new campaign for the Outward Bound Trust, as it demonstrates the long term impact an Outward Bound Course can have on an individual throughout their life, and this demonstrates just how important raising funds for the Trust are”
Lee raised almost £800.00 for the Outward Bound Trust as a result of running the London Marathon, of which the funds will be used to help more disadvantaged young people take part on our courses throughout the UK. Lee is currently Managing Director of the exclusive personal training company Famously Fit – to find out more visit http://www.famouslyfit.com/
